Recently I had the chance to sit down and have a talk with SaveSURGE.org fan/creator of the beloved "SaveSURGE: The Movie," Drew Bizzell. I was hoping to edit the interview and post it on here, but my computer messed up and froze after the interview. I was banging my head against the wall all night. First I asked if Drew would like to say anything to us and he responded with, "I think we at SaveSURGE.org are at the highest point we've ever been at before. And to any girls out there, I really am single." I couldn't quit laughing. I ask him,"What gave you the idea to make a SaveSURGE documentary?" To which he said,"Well, I was writing a script for a different movie I was going to make called "The Spanish Prisoner." I couldn't keep my attention to it. So I made a SaveSURGE documentary." By having the movie myself I dear say that SaveSURGE kept his attention. He also told me that his (giant) phone bill for the few monthes he was shooting the documentary was SURGE or SaveSURGE related calls. From calling Big Lots asking for SURGE to calling places confirming that they have SURGE. Then I told him my short story of asking for the heads of Coke when calling, and they just took my request.

I also asked Drew if he had any favorites. His old favorite game was Choron Trigger (I think that's how its spelled) for SuperNintendo. His favorite games are the Call Of Duty games or the Medal Of Honor games. I can't remember, but I'll keep you posted. His favorite movie is Saving Private Ryan. He said he wouldn't tell me his favorite book. So I kept him to that. By that, I mean I begged him to tell me, but I did tell him my embarrasing nickname that made him spit up his drink. I asked him what he was drinking, and I said,"A SURGE?" He told my no, and that he drank all of his, but he kept the cans. After that it was getting pretty late so i wondered if he had any questions for me. He asked, "What are your hopes, dreams, and passions?" To which I said, "I hope and dream that SURGE will comeback. And that I'm not single........ for now ;-)
